The first edition of Shark Weekend started as a student assignment for a class in the Summer of 2025. Using Adobe Illustrator, Jason was able to create the very first edition of his web comic.

Jason Taylor continues to work and develop different ideas for Shark Weekend. The Sharks may evolve or look different over time, or even have a different story line entirely.
